Despite living in a so-called connected world, we are perhaps more isolated than ever before. In many cases, we don't even know our neighbours. In this film I portrayed my neighbourhood, de bloemenbuurt. The bricks containing the people and the threat that lies within them. Being all alone amongst so many.
For this film I rebuilt the streets in paper and filmed frame per frame in the miniature set. The result is a warped vision on my surroundings, black and white.
